Central Otago Gin is a limited-edition New Zealand craft gin inspired by one of the world’s most celebrated wine regions. Created using Pinot Noir grapes from Bannockburn and infused with carefully selected botanicals, this distinctive expression combines the elegance of fine wine with the complexity of small-batch gin.

Located in the heart of New Zealand’s South Island, Central Otago is internationally renowned for its dramatic alpine scenery and exceptional Pinot Noir wines.
The region’s unique climate, rocky soils and rugged terrain have shaped the character of its vineyards for decades. Central Otago Gin draws inspiration directly from this landscape, transforming its distinctive ingredients into a spirit that captures the essence of the region.
This release was created in honour of Mark’s brother Andy, whose achievements in the wine world remain an important part of the story behind the gin.
Andy achieved international recognition by winning the International Wine and Spirit Competition award for Best Pinot Noir in the World for two consecutive years. The Pinot Noir grapes used in this gin originate from the same vineyard that produced those award-winning wines.
As a result, Central Otago Gin is not only a celebration of place but also a tribute to family, passion and excellence.
The production process begins with Pinot Noir grapes from Bannockburn, one of New Zealand’s most respected wine-growing areas.
The grapes are macerated in pure spirit before being aged for a full year, allowing rich fruit flavours and wine-inspired complexity to develop gradually. This careful maturation creates depth and character rarely found in traditional gin.
The result is a distinctive spirit with layers of dark fruit, subtle spice and remarkable elegance.
