Pinot Noir grapes from Bannockburn are macerated in pure spirit and aged for a full year, unlocking rich, wine-kissed layers. This process, combined with the flinty minerality of Otago’s iconic schist rock, creates a gin that captures the complex, soulful essence of this alpine land. Bold yet refined, with a deep red hue and wild botanicals that echo the rugged beauty of Central Otago.
This gin is dedicated to Mark’s brother Andy, who passed away in 2019. Andy achieved something remarkable: he won the International Wine and Spirit Competition for Best Pinot Noir in the world – two years in a row. The Pinot grapes used in this gin come from the very same vineyard where he made his award-winning wine. Central Otago Gin is more than a spirit – it’s a heartfelt tribute to excellence, family, and enduring memory.
With a limited production of only 300 bottles, this small-batch gin balances rich fruit and earth with high-country elegance. It’s a gin that speaks softly but leaves a lasting impression.
