Earl Grey Gin – Created for the Cocktail

This gin wasn’t just made to be mixed, it was born to elevate a legend. The very first release from Mikrogorzelni was crafted with one cocktail in mind: the iconic French 75. Known for its sparkling elegance and refined character, the French 75 deserved a gin as purposeful and layered as the drink itself.

The Champagne of Teas

To honour that elegance, we turned to a tea as revered as the cocktail it inspired, black tea from the Nuwara Eliya region of Sri Lanka. Grown at an altitude of over 1,800 metres, this tea is known as “the champagne of all teas” for good reason. Its floral, slightly smoky aroma pairs beautifully with the effervescence of champagne.

Earl Grey, Reinvented

Rather than replicate, we reimagined the famous Earl Grey profile from scratch. Using the finest bergamot oranges, we layered in deep citrus notes, then added a subtle warmth from coriander seed and the soft, floral lift of violets and cornflower petals. The result is both familiar and refreshingly new.
