Our off-grid distillery runs entirely on solar energy. By harnessing the African sun, we create something extraordinary — with zero compromise on sustainability.
We extract pure Delta water from the earth using solar pumps, then filter it through reverse osmosis. The result? A key ingredient that brings our gin to life.
From fragrant mopane seeds and ripe citrus to rich local honey — our botanicals are proudly sourced from within the community, supporting local growers and celebrating the region’s natural bounty.
We selected our bottles based on proximity — reducing the distance glass needs to travel, lowering emissions, and avoiding overseas shipping entirely.
We collect used Okavango Gin bottles from lodges and communities across Maun. This initiative supports six Batswana women, who turn recycling into opportunity.
Our bottle sleeves are handcrafted by local seamstresses in Botswana — each one is unique, empowering women and adding authentic charm to every bottle.
