Founded by Colonel Robert Sergent and led by CEO and Master Botanical Distiller Sara Sergent, the distillery combines globally sourced botanicals with a proprietary extraction process to create spirits of exceptional clarity, balance and character.

A Distillery Built on Botanical Innovation

At the heart of the distillery is a relentless focus on botanicals. Sara Sergent developed a proprietary 100% vapor extraction process, built around her signature formula of proof, pressure and speed. Unlike traditional methods that steep botanicals directly into spirit, this approach captures the purest aromatic and flavor compounds from each ingredient before blending, resulting in spirits of remarkable depth and precision.

From Mountain to Glass

The Elevated Gin, the distillery’s flagship expression, is a London Dry style gin crafted with Croatian juniper, Egyptian coriander, French angelica root, Indian cardamom, Guatemalan ginger and fresh citrus peel. No artificial flavors, sweeteners, colors or additives are used. The result is a spirit that is juniper forward, bright, clean and exceptionally versatile behind the bar.

Internationally Recognized Excellence

Alpine Distilling has earned numerous international accolades, including Gin of the Year honors in London and recognition as a four-time USA Today Best American Gin Distillery. Sara Sergent made history in 2026 as the first gin distiller ever nominated for a James Beard Award, one of the most prestigious honors in the American culinary world.

Beyond the distillery, Alpine Distilling operates the Social Aid & Pleasure Club on Historic Main Street in Park City, an intimate lounge bar where their award-winning spirits come to life in signature cocktails.
