The Longitude Line — The Signature Cocktail of 135° East Hyogo Dry Gin
Where East meets mixology. Where tradition meets the coupe glass.
A Cocktail Born from Cultural Crossroads
The Longitude Line is not just a cocktail. It is a liquid expression of the philosophy behind 135° East Gin, the meeting point of East and West, tradition and innovation, restraint and imagination.
Inspired by the spirit of Japan’s transformative Taishō era, this signature serve combines Japanese elegance with contemporary craft mixology. The result is a cocktail of extraordinary balance, visually stunning, texturally refined and deeply flavoured.
Longitude Line Recipe
– 30 ml 135 East Gin
– 10 ml Akashi-Tai Umeshu
– 10 ml Hibiscus syrup
– 15 ml Fresh lime juice
– 10 m; Egg white or Aquafaba
Method
Add the gin, Akashi-Tai Umeshu, hibiscus syrup, lime juice and egg white (or aquafaba) to a shaker.
Dry shake first to create texture, then add ice and shake again until well chilled.
Strain into a chilled coupe glass and garnish as desired.
A Cocktail as Refined as the Gin Behind It
The Longitude Line is a cocktail that rewards attention. The foam carries floral aromas. The hibiscus and umeshu create a vivid, jewel-toned colour. The lime keeps everything alive and fresh. And beneath it all, 135° East Gin provides the botanical depth that ties every element together.
Elegant enough for a special occasion. Distinctive enough to remember.
