Contemporary Negroni – A Modern Take on a Timeless Classic
The Negroni is a modern expression of one of Italy’s most iconic cocktails. Originally created in Florence around 1919, the Negroni was born when Count Negroni asked for a stronger version of the Americano, replacing soda with gin and creating a perfectly balanced, bitter-forward classic.
In this contemporary interpretation, this Gin brings a fresh, citrus-driven twist to the traditional recipe. Bright notes of orange and grapefruit lift the classic bitterness of Campari, while sweet vermouth adds depth and richness. The result is a layered, elegant cocktail that feels both familiar and refreshed.
Bold, complex and beautifully structured, this Negroni is made for those who appreciate depth of flavour and a refined bitterness. Best enjoyed slowly, it’s an ideal aperitif that sets the tone for an evening ahead.
