Sorgin Black Ink Sour – A Modern Signature with Savoury Elegance
The Sorgin Black Ink Sour is a bold and contemporary signature cocktail that blends citrus freshness with savoury depth. Inspired by modern gastronomy and creative mixology, this cocktail explores the boundary between classic sour structure and avant-garde flavour.
Built on Sorgin Yellow Gin, this cocktail combines verjus and Suze for a vibrant, slightly bitter backbone, softened by elderflower syrup and sharpened with a subtle saline solution. The striking visual contrast comes from a delicate cuttlefish-ink rim, adding both drama and a gentle umami note.
Elegant, expressive and unapologetically creative, the Sorgin Black Ink Sour is a cocktail for those who appreciate flavour beyond sweetness, where balance, texture and originality take centre stage.
