Charlie Chaplin Cocktail: Classic Gin Sour with Apricot Brandy and Fresh Lime
The Charlie Chaplin cocktail is a classic gin sour, popular in modern mixology, combining fresh lime juice, apricot brandy and sloe gin for a perfectly balanced drink. Known for its bright citrus, smooth fruit sweetness and subtle bitterness, this cocktail offers a refined and elegant flavour profile.
The Charlie Chaplin is a cocktail with perfect timing. Just like the man himself, it starts light-footed and playful, then slowly reveals surprising depth. Fresh lime juice sets the pace with a crisp, lively acidity, giving the drink its unmistakable energy and charm.
Apricot brandy follows, smooth and gently sweet, adding warmth and a soft, almost nostalgic fruit character. INK Sloe & Berry Gin ties everything together, bringing layers of red berries, subtle bitterness and elegant sweetness that keep the cocktail beautifully balanced.
The result is a refined sour that glides across the palate, never loud, always expressive. This is not a cocktail that rushes. It strolls in, tips its hat, and leaves you smiling.
