Founders Chady and Maya felt a growing pull back to Lebanon, to the mountain village of Rechmaya where nature, space and freedom still set the rhythm of daily life. What started as a longing for their garden, the apricot tree and the sweeping mountain views slowly turned into something more tangible: the desire to create a truly artisanal Lebanese gin, rooted in place and purpose.

A Perfect Match in Passion

Chady, trained in culinary arts, deepened his expertise through advanced distilling courses, refining both technique and sensory precision. Maya, with a background in communications, shaped the brand’s joyful, stylish and approachable identity. Together, their shared energy, warmth and love for hosting guests became the beating heart of the distillery.

They missed their land. They missed their view. So they returned. And with that simple decision, Rechmaya Distillery was born.

Sustainability at the Core

Respect for nature is not a trend at Rechmaya Distillery; it is a guiding principle. Solar energy, composting and water filtration systems are integrated into daily operations, ensuring that production remains in harmony with the surrounding environment. By sourcing ingredients locally, the distillery actively supports Lebanese farmers and craftspeople, strengthening the local economy while preserving traditional knowledge.

These efforts have earned Rechmaya both local and international recognition, positioning the distillery as a reference point for sustainable craftsmanship and green tourism in Lebanon.

Small-Batch, High-Quality Gin

All production at Rechmaya Distillery remains fully artisanal. With a maximum of 300 bottles produced per day, quality is never compromised. Carefully selected botanicals are hand-dried and distilled with precision in a stainless steel column still.

Only the pure heart of the distillate is kept, the heads and tails are deliberately discarded. The resulting spirit, JUN, Rechmaya’s signature Lebanese gin, is then diluted with natural spring water from Rechmaya, filtered through reverse osmosis for exceptional clarity and balance.
